I'm with Karbo on this one. Win10 vanilla is impressively good at handling resources. (edit: in contrast with some really bad software folks install and then blame on Windows...)

I'd suggest going through Settings though (distinct from Control Panel). Particularly notifications, multitasking, privacy, and personalization.

Importantly, all of the above are "preferences" and don't interfere with Window's ability to manage resources, plus they can make Win10 more desktop-friendly and less naggy.

(Maintenance wise, re-check privacy options after feature updates, and check startup frequently.)
