Thanks and I can truly relate. I think, possibly... last year's stint of the live performance recordings/videos made it easier to keep it simple. I still hear a million things I'd like to do but it's easier to resist than it used to be and... I often find myself propping up not so good songs with too many tracks and mix/production tricks - for better or for worse, the madness must stop.
As far as more, I have about 29 more to go but not all are for this project, hope to get maybe 6 or 7 for this particular thing and well, I have to finish writing them.

Good question, probably not because I'd typically grind to a halt trying to be clever, which brings me to a paraphrased quote by Benmont Tench (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers) that has remained with me ever since I heard him say it...
"Clever is not the same thing as good, clever is from the head, good is from the heart".
Might have to make that my new sig.
