I've been trying to control transpprt in Reaper with K-Mix from Keith McMillen Instruments. Haven't been able to. So I wrote them and this was their response:

This is Evan, tech support at KMI.
Unfortunately, Reaper doesn't do MCU the same way that some other DAWs implement it, and it's not clear why. You'll have to use it as a generic MIDI device, and use the Actions in Reaper.
Let me know how it goes.
