Perhaps, but I'll still be in the same situation, releasing a plug that functions far outside of our internal limit. Like if Shred is running at 30% at 44.1 on the development system, its running at 92% at 96k on he development system. Until you start hopping samples, and other destructive reduction techniques that can bring it right back down as far as 36%, but since you're not processing all the samples, whats the point? The user does not get any better of a sound IMO. So, our thinking is they might as well record at 44 or 48 save the cpu and use it on extra effects.
