reaper-bin on the AUR runs the install script and puts the result in a nice package file, so it's great.
The sws AUR package compiles the very latest code on the repository rather than a released version, so it's actually like a -git package. Also the files must be manually copied (or better: symlinked) into the user resource folder, ~/.config/REAPER/{UserPlugins,Scripts} (for reaper_sws-x86_64.so and sws_python64.py respectively).
