"Move cc events with notes" weirdness
When moving cc events with notes existing cc's of the same message will not be 'replaced by' but 'merged with' the moved cc events. This can lead to a total mess.
Taken from this thread, which features some more pics and thoughts: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.p...ght=controller
Pics say more than a thousand words, so look at this:
Existing events of the same message and channel should be deleted between the first and the last moved controller event.
Btw, a merging of moved or copied cc events as in computing an "average CC 'curve'" would perhaps be a cool option, but just sending both is worst case.
I would want simple replace as the default behaviour.

I got it even worse here (3.06). When I moved the first MIDI note away from the 2nd (after the overlap), the 1st dragged with it all the CCs that belonged to both. So I had 4 MIDI CCs overlapping at the same time, same channel, same controller.
It's easy to replicate:
1) Empty midi item
2) Draw 2 separate midi notes
3) Draw CC for each (e.g. expression)
4) Activate 'Move CC with Events' in the MIDI editor
5) Now experiment, bring midi notes on top of each other, then separate them again... etc... watch what happens to CC data
