Slow Transient Detection in stretched or tempo matched items which Preserve Pitch
If an item is time stretched (alt drag) or tempo matched (media bay) and "Preserve Pitch when changing rate" is enabled, transient detection is very slow
Here's an example:
https://i.imgur.com/pt2YJv7.gif
The first track is unstretched and behaves normally. The 2nd item is very slow when stretched until I disable Preserve Pitch.
I've tested in Win7x64 v4.78pre1 x64 & v5.0pre22 x64 with many media types on different hard drives. I've also tested with default Preferences and the issue persisted.
How to reproduce:
1) Time stretch an item
2) Dynamic Split item
3) Change sensitivity to experience the issue
4) Remove Preserve Pitch property from item and test again
I'm happy to provide more info if you need it.
Sorry if it's a dupe, I couldn't find a matching bug report.
Thanks!
