Replace commands for Inserts
Easily replace one or more insert effects in one go

Discussion thread for this request is here.

The Problems
Reaper has no slot system
Thus in order to replace a plugin in the exact spot in the signal chain, you need to
  1. Delete the plugin
  2. Add a new plugin, and it'll get added to the end of the plugin chain
  3. Move the plugin back to the proper spot in the signal chain

If you're testing a lot of instruments or plugins this way, you're wasting time when it could be done much quicker and for more than one plugin at a time too.

Solutions
Right-click commands in the Inserts of the MCP
Replace and Replace with... are added to the context menu of the inserts of the MCP.

Replace calls up the FX browser and replaces the one right-clicked on with the fx or fx chain chosen by the user.
Replace with ... gets you a submenu ala FX Add.
Right-click on selected entries in the FX Chain window
The same commands as for the insert, but these work on the chosen slots. If the selection is non-contiguous the replacement lives in the top-most of the selected plugins that are being replaced.
