ME: Display overlapping velocity bars in descending order
So that we can see them all.

In the MIDI editor, notes are displayed in the Velocity bar in time order.

When they overlap low velocity notes can be obscured.

Could the drawing order be changed to stack the bars, lowest velocity on top? I know it might take a little more CPU but ...

Here's an example:
-- the notes in a staggered chromatic scale,
-- the notes stacked with velocities all showing (possibly generated in descending order of velocity?) (the requested implementation),
-- the stacked notes only showing the last note (the current implementation).

I'd like to add to that.

look here:

you can easily see the midi velocity, and I think in a more usable format.
(I am talking about the note velocity). And, if the Note Velocity was represented horizontal-like, then the gradient colours could always represent midi channel, or item (in a multi-item midi editor).

here is another image that shows smaller sized notes, and only one note selected:


Of course if the notes are too small to represent velocity horizontally, then perhaps at that point we could default to what we have now:
