You can already have that, what's the problem?

Just add a MIDI FX to your MIDI item just like you'd do with audio items.

*Please posts help requests in the appropriate Forums next time, thanks.

sorry, so I have posted in the wrong category, I was sure this function do not exist ... because :

I apply the same method as with a sample item : I can't hear an effect, neither with a midi FX neither an audio FX (??)

Audio FX's won't do anything to MIDI items, they have to be inserted in Audio Items.

What MIDI FX's are you using? It seems to work here:

You should start a new thread on Forums for this request and then take it here once you think it's been discussed (or has support) enough (you should create a new ticket in that case).

NOTE: per-item FX depend on the item they're inserted in so it doesn't make sense to have audio FX in MIDI items because the processing is not the same.

ok, I understand now the rules of the requests on this forum

(my request have a sense in the same way as we can apply audio effects on a track with MIDI datas)

That cannot ever happen because MIDI and audio are incompatible types of data. You should render your MIDI to audio first if you want to add any FX on it.

but we can apply audio effects to a track with MIDI datas, without render, no ?

No, in that case you're applying audio effects to audio because that's what VSTi's output. For instance, if you move your audio fx right before the VSTi, do you still have that applied? No because that audio fx will be receiving MIDI data in this case.

Exactly, but I imagine a flow that go back to item effect after the track FX chain, maybe just in case an item effect is activated.
