REAPER 3.21


-> enable "Close audio device when stopped and application is inactive" in preferences

-> don't maximize REAPER's window
-> put some other application's window next to REAPER's
-> open Media Explorer
-> enable "Auto play"
-> navigate to a folder with at least two audio files
-> preview a file by clicking it in the Media Explorer
-> stop preview playback
-> switch to the other application
-> switch back to REAPER via direct clicking on a different file in the Media Explorer than the one we previewed already


=> [audio device closed]

Expected: Audio device reopened and playback starting
