If you follow the next steps, you´ll see something really crazy regarding the Tempo Map envelope. Due to the ease of replication, I hope it can be fixed rather soon...
1 - Open the attached project :

2 -
Change the project´s time signature in the transport from 4/4 to 2/4...Voilá!!!! A lot of negative measures are "magically" added and a certain portion of the ruler in the tempo map span is broken in a similar way to this other issue : http://forum.cockos.com/project.php?issueid=5263 (I´m on PC, by the way, even though the report by Breeder is labeled as "OSX particular"). Although the item remains in its original position, due to the addition of all those negative measures now seems to be totally displaced and far, far behind the envelope.
Of course, with a dense tempo map there are always visual bugs of this kind. The addition of all that negative time is now really serious. I not only hope that this report leads to a fix, but I also expect that it can be a little, humble contribution to the reevaluation of the well known tempo mapping implementation inconsistencies.
