Default Umm, 1.820. No compromise here!

* added "Cockos" plugin category to FX add dialog
* updated layout on most Cockos plugins
* Missing file box: more selective auto-file-detection based on previous browse for file logic
* project setting for record path can now take relative pathname
* project autosave (to timestampted files) saves to .rpp.bak
* project open dialog will now optionally list .rpp.bak (in type list)

Thanks!

I wondered about that post. Hey it's a new feature. I'm sure they can code in some "signature search" if they wanted to, and the architecture is there. I don't muck with the filenames, myself (especially when you would have to redo it every day when there's a new release).

You could collapse the "All Plugins" parent and just use "My Folders" if you really dislike that.

This is one step closer to needing/having only Jesusonic and Cockos plugs in your project.

Sure, but it doesn't stay collapsed here when closing and reopening Reaper. Another missing feature ...

I hear Captain Palmer was quoted as saying "D@*N! That's where I put that thing!" So it wasn't really a discovery more like a "finding"...

the new file features are REALLY life savers if you are a file slob like me. I had to do some save as and trim with customers hanging out the other day, no fun

Now reaper finds my files...the bak hiding keeps my project directory WAAAAYYYY less cluttered when seeking files too

I don't know if we can complain about "missing features!!!" But I would definitely like to have folder behavior in FX chain consistent also
