REAPER DOESN'T RECOGNIZE MY OXYGEN 8 MIDI CONTROLLER

I know this problem has been addressed but apparently the answers aren't sufficient enough(no offense)..Ok: I have the Oxygen plugged into my USB port via the USB cable and have the Legacy driver installed...Reaper won't read it nor does it have it in the VST or VSTi directories..Am i missing something here? Thanks

If you could send me the link where it was addressed in the forum I'd appreciate it..I can't find it..When i said the answers weren't sufficient, what I meant to say was that none of the answers worked..Didn't mean to offend anybody
